Main missions

The Project Manager is responsible for the overall management of nuclear projects, including planning activities, resource allocation, monitoring budgets and schedules, and coordinating teams.

He/She liaises with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and nuclear safety organizations, to ensure regulatory compliance and project requirements satisfaction.

The Project Manager oversees the development and implementation of risk management plans, identifying potential risks associated with nuclear projects and implementing appropriate mitigation measures to ensure facility safety and security.

He/She also monitors project performance, collecting and analyzing data on progress, costs, and performance, and providing regular reports to management and relevant stakeholders.

Job activities

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Develop detailed plans for each phase of the project, defining objectives, deliverables, deadlines, and required resources, and coordinating activities of different teams.

  • Resource Management: Allocate human, financial, and material resources necessary for project execution, optimizing their use and ensuring their availability throughout the project.

  • Budget and Schedule Tracking: Monitor planned expenses and schedules, identifying and resolving any variances from initial forecasts, and taking corrective actions if necessary to meet project objectives.

  • Team Coordination: Supervise and motivate project team members, guiding them in performing their tasks, resolving potential conflicts, and fostering collaboration and communication among different project stakeholders.

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage potential risks associated with nuclear projects, implementing appropriate mitigation measures to minimize their impact on safety, security, and project success.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain regular communication with clients, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of project progress and addressing their concerns and requirements.
