The Director of Engineering assumes responsibility for strategic direction, project management, oversight of engineering teams, driving technology innovation and regulatory compliance, while building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Job activities

  • Strategic planning: responsible for the strategic planning of the company’s engineering activities. This involves defining short and long term goals, setting priorities, allocating the necessary resources and developing action plans to achieve the set goals.

  • Project management: oversees and coordinates the management of engineering projects. He ensures that projects are well defined, planned and executed within budgets, timelines and quality standards. He also supervises the project teams and ensures the effective coordination of the various engineering disciplines involved.

  • Technological innovation and continuous improvement: identification and adoption of new technologies and best practices. He encourages innovation within the company, explores new technical solutions, assesses their applicability and oversees their implementation. He also ensures the establishment of a culture of continuous improvement in engineering activities.
