Main missions

In the scope of their duties, they are responsible for supervising all offshore maritime operations. This includes planning and coordinating transportation and logistics activities necessary for the transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies to offshore wind sites.

Additionally, they must ensure compliance with safety and environmental protection standards while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing operational risks.

Job activities

  • Planning maritime operations: Developing a detailed schedule of maritime transportation and logistics operations at sea, taking into account weather constraints and the characteristics of offshore wind sites.

  • Resource coordination: Managing operation teams, vessels, and equipment to ensure efficient execution of maritime activities, ensuring the availability of necessary resources.

  • Supervision of operations: Monitoring offshore operations to ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations, while ensuring productivity and quality of work.

  • Supplier management: Negotiating contracts with maritime service providers and monitoring their execution to ensure quality services and adherence to deadlines.

  • Risk management: Identifying and assessing risks associated with maritime operations, implementing preventive and corrective measures to minimize accidents and incidents.

  • Reporting: Preparation of regular reports on the progress of maritime operations, providing data on operational performance, incidents, and measures taken.

  • Collaboration with technical teams: Coordination with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure synchronization of maritime operations with land activities.

  • Regulatory compliance: Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments in the maritime field to ensure compliance of operations with current standards.

Required skills
