Environmental Management: Monitoring and evaluating the environmental impact of oil and gas operations. This may involve waste management, pollution prevention, and compliance with environmental regulations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that all operations comply with local, national, and international safety and environmental regulations. This includes maintaining compliance records and coordinating regulatory inspections.
Incident Management: Coordinating investigations, reporting, and corrective actions in the event of safety or environmental incidents to prevent recurrence.
Audits and Assessments: Conducting internal audits and compliance assessments to ensure that HSE policies and procedures are followed.
Training and Awareness: Organizing training sessions to promote a culture of safety and environmental awareness among personnel.
Continuous Improvement: Constantly working to improve HSE policies, procedures, and practices to minimize risks and enhance performance.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports to document incidents, actions taken, and progress in HSE.
Safety and Environmental Regulations: Proficiency in understanding and implementing safety and environmental regulations and standards specific to the oil and gas sector.
Risk Assessment: The ability to conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies for mitigating them.
Incident Response: Skill in managing and responding to safety and environmental incidents, including conducting investigations and implementing corrective actions.
Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively convey safety and environmental policies, procedures, and training to personnel at all levels.
Auditing and Compliance: Expertise in auditing operations for compliance with safety and environmental requirements and the ability to develop and execute compliance improvement plans.
