Main missions

The System Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of energy systems, including energy production from renewable sources such as solar, wind, or hydroelectricity.

He/She coordinates technical teams on the ground to ensure the proper functioning of installations and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Additionally, he/she is responsible for planning and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the continuous availability of systems.

Job activities

  • Supervision of Renewable Energy Production: Monitor real-time electricity production from renewable sources, analyze performance data to identify trends and anomalies, and coordinate interventions in case of malfunction or underperformance.

  • Coordination of Technical Teams for Maintenance and Repairs: Assign maintenance and repair tasks to field teams, ensure effective communication between teams to optimize interventions, and ensure that safety protocols are followed during interventions.

  • Planning and Organization of Preventive Maintenance Work: Develop preventive maintenance schedules based on manufacturer recommendations and industry standards, and plan production shutdowns to perform scheduled maintenance work.

  • Management of Emergency Interventions and Failures: Coordinate teams to quickly respond to incidents and failures, and develop emergency response procedures to minimize downtime.

  • Monitoring of System Performance and Parameter Optimization: Monitor and analyze equipment performance to identify optimization opportunities, and adjust system parameters to improve operational efficiency.

  • Monitoring of Energy Consumption and Proposal of Improvements: Analyze energy consumption data to identify potential savings sources, and propose initiatives to reduce energy consumption and optimize resource use.

  • Documentation of Activities and Follow-up Reports: Keep maintenance records and intervention reports up to date, and prepare periodic reports on system performance and maintenance activities.

  • Regulatory and Technological Watch in the Field of Renewable Energy: Monitor developments in safety and environmental regulations, and stay informed about technological advancements in the field of renewable energy and energy system management.
