Reports to Well Services Superintendent

Purpose of Job

The Well Service Supervisor is expected to be an experienced individual who is capable to manage, coordinate and supervise the well interventions operations, wellhead maintenance and stimulation operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • To supervise rig and rigless well services/intervention operations including but not limited to the Slick line, electric line, coiled tubing, stimulation, well clean-up and production testing operations, through tubing fishing, production logging and perforating, well integrity diagnostics, zonal isolation, water/gas shut-off, scale removal and inhibition, surface and bottom hole sampling, wellhead repairs, workover and any associated Well operations that may be carried out during the life cycle of a well. follow the applied safety policies and procedures, in order to ensure in coordination with the Completion/Workover or Well Services Superintendent that the operations comply with well intervention programs and defined schedules.
  • Make recommendations when well intervention problems arise to get them solved.
  • To produce daily/periodic reports according to Company standards, collecting all the significant information about well intervention/ services activities, materials and technologies applied contractor performance and possible difficulties that might arise.
  • To supervise the progress of the /well intervention/ services operations, maintaining cost optimization and operation effectiveness. Being the main Company representative on well site, the job holder coordinates and give directives to all client making recommendations when problems arise to get them solved.
  • To follow the movement of materials and personnel involved in operations, in order to ensure the proper and timely supply of the equipment, optimizing the cost of transport, materials and manpower within established programs.
  • To ensure that all materials received on well site are coherent with delivery “Manifest”
  • To supervise the technical performance ensuring the correct implementation of Safety Well Services Policies and Procedures, and to ensure that operations comply with Company policies.
  • To provide feedback in order to improve future well operations and relevant programs.
  • Participation in all planning meetings and provide input to intervention programs & operations. Ensure that all Service Company’s crew understand the tasks at hand and understand any risk associated with executing the procedures.
  • Maintain a culture of continuous improvement/enhancement by incorporating after-action reviews and lessons learned.
  • Coordinates with relevant departments for the manufacturing and or procurement of equipment such as crossovers, adaptors and specialized equipment to carry out the work.
  • Validates invoices related to work carried out on company installations.
  • Reports and investigates near-miss events, incidents/accidents and makes necessary recommendations for improvement. Discusses near-miss events with service providers to identify the lessons learned and capture for future improvements.
  • Ensures that safety-critical equipment is maintained by keeping it fully certified, inspected and operational.
  • Leads all JSA meetings before executing the job.
  • Discusses safety alerts generated at the work site and disseminates to the Well Operations team member.

Main Interfaces

Internal Interfaces

  • Contacts shall be held with Company’s positions linked to the performance of well operations offshore. Typical interfaces are offshore Production Team, Wells Team.

External Interfaces

  • Contact shall be held with Contractors at the well site with the scope of organizing and coordinating the works, ensure availability and assess conformance with specifications and HSE requirements of services, materials and equipment at the well site.

Qualification Requirements

Work Experience

  • Essential: 10 years' experience in a Well service Supervisor role and 8 years of work experience related to drilling, workover well intervention and workover mainly in offshore environment.
  • Having good experience in Workover activities and familiar with jack up rig HWO / Snubbing unit in offshore environment
  • Preferably and a plus in evaluation:
  • Familiar with international standards related to best industry practice and partners standards.
  • Work experience in H2S environment.

Qualifications

  • University degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Fluent in oral and written English language.
  • Extensive knowledge of well servicing (slick line, CT, pumping, treatments) equipment, technology, and workflows
  • ·Thorough knowledge of HSE best practices.
  • Valid H2S training certificate
  • Level 4 IWCF

Physical Make-up

  • Offshore Medical certificate.
  • Offshore Survival Certificated.

  • Strong communications and team skills.
  • Adhere to priorities and schedules and possess an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Perform under pressure with a strong sense of commitment to project related criteria.
