The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a maintenance management capacity within the hydrocarbon production industry, and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
The Head of Production at the HBR Project, located in the Sahara Desert, Algeria, is responsible for ensuring the successful operation of production activities. With a focus on compliance with safety standards, the role involves overseeing various departments, managing resources, and fostering effective communication within the project. The ideal candidate should hold a Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Science or relevant engineering, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the hydrocarbon production industry. Fluency in English and French, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work in challenging environments are essential for this role.
Plays a primary role and expertise on Operational and Process Safety to client’s Production and Project Development units. Oversees the effective and consistent implementation of Operational and Process Safety policies, objectives, management systems and associated deliverables in all Client Portfolio as well as HSE Management Systems in Exploration and Project Development activities. Develops and recommends, plans, programs and procedures that will ensure control of potential major health and safety hazards associated with Production and Project Development. Collaborates with client, JVs and Corporate in business risk management, asset integrity management, Functional Safety and other specific projects related to his/her discipline. Guides and coaches the HSE&S Development Teams in Algeria and LATAM.
VIMS CFX, TAS, SBC, Net Number
Knowledge of CBIS/CBAM would be a huge plus
Scope of Work:
1. Handle tickets, make a first troubleshooting activities linked to Nokia’s troubleshooting procedures and perform all exchanges related to the tickets
2. Perform upgrades
3. Recover the troubled network elements or service with the help of Nokia Global Support channels if necessary
4. On-Site availability on ad-hoc demand as needed for faulty Hardware replacements for lab testing and fault tracing with local SIM.
5. Technical advice supplied to customer teams and initiation of required follow-up activities
6. Technical support to customer teams during specific maintenance activities in the network requiring troubleshooting capabilities.
