Scope of the service
These specifications set out the client's expectations regarding the provision of technical assistance by a High Current Expert (HCE) on the Montoir de Bretagne LNG terminal within the client's Projects Department. The main mission of the Service Provider is to manage and steer the CFO part of the Velociraptor Systèmes (VLPS) project in conjunction with and on behalf of the Project Owner.
The VLP Système (VLPS) project, consisting of :
o Replacing the site's automated digital security system (currently being finalised)
o Replacing the site's digital command and control system (SSC)
o Replace the PLCs in the site's packages o Renovate the 660V, 400V force and 400V valve switchboards in all the site's electrical substations The VLPS project is currently in the implementation phase.
The Service Provider will be working closely with an external project management team (MOE) and an internal project management team (AMOA), who will be responsible for the design, construction supervision and acceptance of the works.
The CFO Expert will be responsible for the following activities
o Preparation of data sheets in Excel
o Excel + Caneco calculation sheet
o Drafting of summary technical descriptions
o Proofreading and validation of deliverables issued by engineering departments and works contracts
o Support for the preparation of works contracts / consultation on electrical equipment
o Specification of electrical equipment (diesel generator, LV & MV switchboards), protection diagrams, standard diagrams, LV & HV motors, list of consumers, power balance sheet
o Participation in commissioning and start-up phases
o Interface for installation studies.
Contractor's skills The Contractor's personnel must have solid experience in high current electrical projects on an industrial or Oil & Gas site, preferably in operation.
The Contractor's personnel are expected to have a good knowledge of engineering methods and phases, HV and LV electrical equipment (main and secondary equipment in units and substations), a mastery of electrical standards, particularly French, and to be able to follow electrical equipment consultations.
In addition to their technical knowledge, the Service Provider's personnel must have the following qualities:
o Good interpersonal skills (ability to listen, comfortable communicating with a varied public)
o Ability to anticipate and adapt to changes in the Project and to react quickly to unforeseen events and requirements
o Be organised and rigorous in managing the project
