Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to and from sites and facilities.
  • Manage daily logistics operations, including fleet scheduling, route planning, and transport documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with national and international transportation and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with transport service providers to ensure high performance and service standards.
  • Monitor transportation costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and route optimization.
  • Collaborate with operations, procurement, and production teams to align delivery timelines with project needs.
  • Maintain accurate records of transport activities, including freight documentation, reports, and audits.
  • Troubleshoot transportation delays or disruptions, and implement solutions swiftly.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in logistics or transportation coordination, preferably in the oil and gas upstream sector.
  • Proficiency in project management and logistics planning.
  • In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and safety compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office and logistics management software.
  • Fluent in English; Portuguese or French is a plus.
