[Certification] Altea Energy confirms its compliance during the 2025 Qualianor surveillance audit

On November 12, 2025, Altea Energy successfully completed its annual Qualianor surveillance audit on nuclear radiation protection at its headquarter in Saint-Cloud, France.

Keeping consultants safe on nuclear sites

Led by an external auditor accredited by Qualianor, this audit is part of the three-year certification cycle initiated in 2023 and represents a key milestone in ensuring the ongoing compliance of nuclear safety requirements.

For the 2025 edition, the audit was prepared and coordinated by Mohand Toudert, HSE Supervisor at Altea Energy, who oversaw the consolidation of all documentation, the organization of interviews, and the verification of operational compliance.

“ This audit is an important opportunity to assess the robustness of our radiation protection system in daily operations. We reviewed the procedures implemented to ensure the safety of consultants working in controlled areas, as well as the monitoring tools developed in collaboration with the Radiation Protection Advisor (CRP) provided by our partner Ingéris,” explains Mohand Toudert.

An audit that confirms the suitability of our radiation protection system

The scope assessed during the November 12, 2025 audit covered all requirements of the Qualianor framework:

  • document management and procedure updates,
  • regulatory compliance,
  • dosimetry monitoring of consultants,
  • management of training, authorizations, and medical examinations,
  • risk assessment and prevention measures,
  • internal responsibilities and governance of the radiation protection system.

The audit confirmed that no non-conformities were identified. This outcome is a strong indicator of the effectiveness of the continuous improvement approach led by the Altea Energy team since 2023.

“ This milestone is the result of a collective and cross-functional effort involving our HSE, operational, and nuclear teams. Radiation protection requires high standards and maintaining this certification which is essential in the nuclear environment demonstrates our long-term commitment ” , emphasizes Mohand Toudert.

A more robust system for safety in nuclear environments

Since obtaining the Qualianor certification in 2023, Altea Energy has built a comprehensive system based on:

  • monthly dosimetry monitoring through SISERI,
  • the use of the Pandore platform provided by Ingéris to manage operational aspects (authorizations, risk assessments, prevention measures, feedback, etc.),
  • systematic support for consultants deployed in irradiated areas,
  • close collaboration with an external Radiation Protection Advisor (CRP), ensuring regulatory compliance.

“ We will continue our efforts to maintain and enhance our performance in protecting the health and safety of our consultants, and we are already exploring, together with the teams, the possibility of pursuing an additional nuclear certification for 2026. ”, explains Pamela Bobillier, Transformation Director at Altea Energy.

This safety-driven approach lies at the heart of Altea Energy’s HSE strategy:

  • securing all on-site interventions,
  • developing radiation protection skills across teams and consultants,
  • supporting French nuclear projects at a time of industrial renewal,
  • contributing to the energy transition by ensuring the protection of field personnel.

“ Maintaining a high level of safety is essential to protect our consultants and provide our clients with flawless compliance on their nuclear projects. The 2025 audit confirms that we are on the right track.”, adds Gaëtan Jury, Nuclear Division Manager at Altea Energy.

Altea Energy, a strategic partner supporting the expansion of the Nuclear Industry

With strong technical expertise and an international footprint, Altea Energy supports nuclear operators throughout the entire lifecycle of their facilities: engineering, construction, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Altea Energy provides its clients with highly skilled consultants capable of working on complex and demanding projects across seven key domains:

  • project management,
  • engineering,
