Altea Energy to attend the “French Nuclear Days 2025 – Switzerland” organized by Business France

From June 25 to 26, 2025, Altea Energy is taking part in the French Nuclear Days organized by Business France in Zurich and Bern, in partnership with GIFEN, the Swiss Nuclear Forum, and the Nuclear Valley cluster.

A meeting to bring together nuclear industry leaders and experts

This event aims to strengthen Franco-Swiss cooperation in the field of nuclear energy by bringing together companies, institutions, and technical experts around the challenges of decarbonization and energy sovereignty.

“This event is an excellent opportunity to build bridges between French and Swiss nuclear stakeholders. We are here to identify synergies and support the development of low-carbon projects,” explains Guillaume Escoubas, Account Manager at Altea Energy.

“Altea Energy has been actively engaged in this dynamic with Business France for several years. We are convinced that knowledge sharing, talent mobility, and technical innovation are key levers to support Europe’s energy ambitions,” he adds.

The Altea Energy team and other participants will meet on June 25 and 26, 2025, at the Residence of the French Embassy in Bern for:

  • A seminar presenting the Swiss nuclear sector and participation in collective sessions
  • A nuclear site visit
  • One-on-one meetings with potential partners and clients

A strategic revival of nuclear energy in Switzerland

Faced with the climate emergency and the need to secure electricity production in Europe, nuclear energy is asserting itself as a key pillar of the low-carbon energy mix.

“Switzerland is reigniting the nuclear energy debate with a potential lifting of the ban on building new power plants, through an upcoming vote,” introduces Business France.

Switzerland has strong expertise in nuclear energy and is showing renewed interest in cross-border technological and industrial cooperation. This ambition is part of long-term projects aiming to allow Switzerland to play an active role in the European Union’s low-carbon energy landscape.

Altea Energy’s strategy in support of nuclear energy

A recognized player in technical assistance for the energy sector, Altea Energy has, for the past five years, been progressively positioning itself in renewable energies and nuclear energy, confirming its ambition to support its clients’ projects in France, in Europe, and internationally, by providing qualified consultants.

“Altea Energy decided five years ago to take a strategic turn toward nuclear, a sector that has become essential in addressing global energy challenges. The nuclear revival is happening in Europe, and Switzerland is a strategic partner,” emphasizes Gaëtan Jury, Nuclear Division Manager at Altea Energy.

Thanks to its network of experienced consultants, Altea Energy is involved in complex projects in France, Europe, and Africa, with a full range of services covering construction, operations, safety, maintenance, and specialized engineering.
