From November 4 to 6, 2025, Altea Energy will take part in the World Nuclear Exhibition (WNE), the global civil nuclear event organized by GIFEN, held at the Parc des Expositions – Hall 6 in Villepinte, France.
Understanding the transformations in the nuclear industry
The WNE is a key meeting point to discuss the future of the nuclear sector: how to ensure project deliverability, integrate artificial intelligence into industrial processes, and mobilize new financing strategies for large-scale infrastructure programs.
According to Gaëtan Jury, Nuclear Division Manager at Altea Energy, these challenges are central to the transformations underway in the industry:
“The nuclear sector is entering a new phase of strategic redeployment. The challenges are multiple — technical, human, and environmental — but so are the opportunities. The goal now is to make projects faster, safer, and more sustainable through innovation and expertise.”
“We attended the exhibition two years ago and we will again be there this year. The World Nuclear Exhibition is an opportunity to meet our customers and take stock of their projects to help them surround themselves with the best experts.“, continues Guillaume Escoubas, Account manager at Altea Energy.
Altea Energy, a committed partner for nuclear projects
Altea Energy supports key players in the nuclear industry in their engineering, construction, operations, and decommissioning projects, by sourcing and selecting experienced technical experts to ensure their successful delivery.
The company assists its clients across seven key areas of expertise:
- Project management
- Engineering
- Procurement and logistics
- Construction
- Installation and commissioning
- Operations and maintenance
- Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)
Through these areas of expertise, Altea Energy helps address a major challenge: finding and mobilizing qualified resources to support the expansion of nuclear projects across Europe and Asia — whether for the maintenance of existing power plants, the construction of new reactors, or the dismantling of installations.
“Altea Energy supports nuclear industry players in achieving carbon neutrality by 2050 by providing qualified experts throughout the lifecycle of nuclear facilities. Thanks to our Qualianor certification, we ensure the highest standards of radiation protection and nuclear safety for our consultants deployed on site,” explains Gaëtan Jury.
SMRs: new horizons for Nuclear Energy
Beyond electricity production, nuclear energy is opening up new industrial applications.
Small Modular Reactors (SMRs) are a concrete example: these modular reactors, capable of powering cities of over 60,000 inhabitants, use valorized radioactive waste from existing plants, offering a complementary solution to fossil fuels.
“The development of SMRs demonstrates the ability of nuclear energy to adapt to future needs — producing locally, avoiding the burial or costly treatment of nuclear waste, reducing emissions, and securing energy supply,” adds Gaëtan Jury.
A presence at WNE to build the future of nuclear Energy
The Altea Energy team, composed of Gaëtan Jury (Nuclear Division Manager), Guillaume Escoubas (Account Manager), and Paul Vergnes (Head of Growth), will be present throughout the three days of the exhibition to meet with partners and discuss the human and technical challenges facing the industry.
“The WNE is an essential platform to understand market developments, identify skill needs, and collectively build the solutions of tomorrow,” concludes Gaëtan Jury.
