10 years of commitment at Altea Energy: Eva Berton’s Journey

This year, Eva Berton celebrates her 10-year anniversary at Altea Energy. Starting as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, then becoming Head of Recruitment, and now serving as Chief Revenue Officer, she embodies a career built over time.

An evolution that above all reflects the company’s culture: growing talent from within and building leadership grounded in hands-on experience. A look back at Eva’s inspiring journey and her vision of Altea Energy’s culture.

A career built at the heart of operations

Eva Berton joined Altea Energy ten years ago as a Senior Recruitment Consultant, following an initial experience in the Oil & Gas sector. Very quickly, she stood out for her deep understanding of both the human and operational dimensions of recruitment.

“I have always been passionate about the full recruitment cycle: finding the right match, supporting talent in their development, and building long-term relationships based on trust,” explains Eva Berton.

Over the years, she progressed to the role of Head of Recruitment, where she structured teams, developed scalable processes, and strengthened collective performance.

This managerial experience gave her a cross-functional understanding of the Altea Energy model, an asset that now proves invaluable in the new responsibilities she has taken on.

“As Head of Recruitment, I came to understand how much company culture, structure, and leadership can positively influence results, team motivation, and the experience delivered to clients,” she adds.

The creation of a Chief Revenue Officer role to anticipate needs and create client value

Recently appointed Chief Revenue Officer of Altea Energy, Eva steps into a strategic role that builds on the continuity of her journey: connecting day-to-day operations with long-term vision.

Eva truly embodies the Altea Energy culture: commitment, vision, and leadership built over time. Her appointment reflects our commitment to promoting talents who have grown within the company and contributed to its development,” emphasizes Nicolas Kotliar, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Altea Energy.

In this new role, her responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Group’s growth strategy and business development
  • Building long-term partnership strategies with clients and identifying new development opportunities
  • Structuring operational excellence to continuos enhance client experience and strengthen proximity

“Drawing on ten years of operational and managerial experience, I understand the reality behind each project, at the intersection of our clients’ challenges and our consultants’ expectations, as well as the importance of involving our sales and operational teams at every stage.

This 360° perspective will enable me to further develop strong partnership relationships, build a bridge between our clients’ current needs and the solutions we must create for tomorrow, and structure our next phases of growth,” Eva explains.

Beyond technical expertise: People as Altea Energy’s core strength

“I remember that during my job interview, I asked: ‘Why should I join the Altea Energy team?’

The answers I heard back then are the same ones I could share today: an incredible team, a truly international environment, a strong team spirit, and many opportunities to learn and grow.

When I look back on these ten years at Altea Energy, my greatest pride is not tied to a title or a milestone.
It’s about the people and the relationships we’ve built.

I’ve seen the team grow.
Our scope of operations expand.
Our community of consultants develop.
Our internal processes become more structured.
The energy projects we support grow more complex.

The company has reached important milestones while remaining true to its DNA. It has lost neither its agility nor its deeply human spirit.

There isn’t one single defining moment in my journey, but rather a feeling I’ve experienced many times: the gratitude of a consultant whose career has taken a new turn with us, a colleague growing into the best version of themselves, or a client telling us they feel truly supported, and that they work with us as much for our expertise as for the way we treat our teams and consultants.

Every time I hear that, I’m reminded why I joined the company, why I stayed, and why I’m proud of our journey. Because it reflects our culture: a company where people matter, where trust is built, and where relationships come first.

If we take care of our teams, they take care of our clients and the results follow.

It’s this human value, beyond our technical expertise and the challenges we tackle with our clients, that I want to continue to nurture and embody in our next stages of growth,” Eva Berton concludes.
