Job Purpose

Technical Assistant assists Drilling Department technical staff in transferring data into project data base system (SAP) to support the project. The job holder provide technical and administrative support to Drilling team. The job holder manage a significant amount of operational/regulatory reporting, IT data, technical data, database, contract and cost reporting information to keep the drilling team working efficiently.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide an efficient and effective Technical service including the updating and maintaining of key records, documentation and databases in a timely manner. (Travel schedule & Timesheets of the Drilling Team - PO’s from Drilling Department, official letter).
  • Assist technical staff (Engineers) in preparing various documents related to cost of services: PR’s, PO’s, SR’s, SO’s in SAP system.
  • Monitor and create the drilling projects (WBS) on SAP PS module. Create networks and Networks activities (SR/ PR/ Material Reservation) for the drilling Project under PS and follow up the documentation.
  • Create the drilling Material Reservation (SIR) in SAP as per well consumption as Networks activities (prim. Costs), and Coordinate with HBR Logistics Team in terms of Material Reservation and Network Data for Material Return as per actual well consumption.
  • Create PO Subcontract in SAP for drilling fabrication, assembly and modification works performed by contractor, and coordinate with HBR Logistics Team.
  • Prepare documents and official letter to submit to Authority or Partner such as “Drilling program”, “Monthly Canvas” and “EOWR”. Coordinate for submission. Record and register all for letters.
  • Maintain Drilling database. Create the standard well file structure for individual wells and save daily drilling report.
  • Maintain and track the 'Lessons Learnt' templates, Non Conformance, NPT spreadsheets, well operation summary and other technical tracking as per request from Drilling team.
  • Assist and compile the data for the End of Well Report  Be a department focal point for contract administration.

Professional Knowledge & Experience

  • Diploma from Vocational School or Secretarial college or Bachelor's degree in Business Admin, Engineering, Arts, or related field
  • Strong administrative skills, the ability to work with minimal supervision and to be able to appreciate and understand key issues and manage them accordingly to meet deadlines
  • Good knowledge of SAP master data and transactional data, including Project Systems objects- work break down structures, project networks, as well as integration with other modules like MM, FI/CO.
  • Ability to multi-task within a dynamic workplace with good attitude and Service-minded
  • Excellent English and French is mandatory.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills (MS Office: Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook)
