Missions/Service Dimensions
The service holder, shall oversee all engineering aspects of all Subsea Structures (including Structures for Subsea Control
Systems), Jumpers, and Connection Systems; with support from the Jumpers and Connection Systems engineer.
Activities
• Manage the Company Project team dedicated to the Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems element of the Project to ensure thetechnical, budget and schedule objectives are met and that the responsibilities of the job description are discharged.
• Review and ratify the Design Proposals from the Alliance (Design proposals include Basis of Design, Flow Diagrams,Specifications, Procedures, Calculation Notes, & MTOs).
• Ensure that Design proposals from the Alliance meet the requirements and expectations of the various Exhibits in the FEED Contract.
• Ensure implementation in his/her own discipline of all HSE and QC requirements and report to SPS Lead on any deviation.
• Facilitate approval for Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems related documentation, consolidating comments from within SPS Team and form other Company Packages leading up to their final approval.
• Participate in the engineering review of other packages design documents which have an interface to the Subsea Structures& Tie-in Systems equipment
• Evaluate the workload of Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems Package and identify, as necessary, additional resources or the means required to meet Contract objectives to the SPS Lead.
• Liaise with Company Specialists within the various technical departments in HQ to ensure Design proposals from the Alliance meet the requirements of the Company specifications.
• Actively follow-up the Alliance actual progress against all planned engineering activities required for completion of the Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems equipment. Ensure that the Alliance are focused on meeting their commitments.
• Initiate and manage weekly progress meetings with the Alliance and provide weekly and monthly reports to SPS Lead.
• Review and manage the resources and organization of the Alliance, identifying that they are adequate (and competent) for achieving the discipline works
• Manage the interface with other disciplines in the Project to ensure cross-package and inter-contract compliance. Ensure that any cost and / or schedule changes to agreed designs emanating from or impacting the Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems
equipment are identified. Highlight such changes, providing assistance to quantify the cost and schedule impact to the SPS Lead.
• Expedite the timely disposition of Deviations/ Derogation requests as they effect the Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems.
• Participate in/organize any technical or co-ordination meeting necessary to fulfil the job responsibilities.
• Coordinate the Lessons Learned to be developed for the Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems.
• Coordinate the preparation of the Close-out Report for the Subsea Structures & Tie-in Systems.
Context & Environment
The proposed development option is a subsea tieback to FPSO.
Technically challenging project with several technical novelties/innovations within company and oil & industry - long tie- back distance (~30km), Production flowline heating solution (DEH) at maximum water depth with some qualification, Subsea brownfield tie-in to existing EGINA facilities (SIMOPS), Constrained flowlines & umbilical layout/routing (Seabed disturbance, Geohazards, DEH constraints, several crossings), Novel material technology-CRA cladded/lined flowline, potentially with Mechanically-Lined Pipe (MLP), Flowline S-lay in deepwater, Large scale deployment of long Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP) for water injection jumpers.
Heavy workload with tight FEED schedule and activities leading to FID.

The Subsea Structures & Hardware Lead Engineer’s primary focus is required to be on technical compliance of the Subsea Structures, Jumpers, and Connection Systems; in accordance with Contract requirements. The objective of the role is to obtain equipment to specification, of the requisite quality levels in line with the Contract Schedule. The Subsea Structures & Hardware Lead Engineer will be assisted in his endeavors by the Jumpers and Connection Systems Engineer. The Subsea Structures & Hardware Lead Engineer will report to the FEED SPS Lead.

Working 5 days per week at COMPANY nominated premises at Location of assignment; with missions as requested by COMPANY. A minimum physical presence of 3 full working days per week.
Commuting
Working 5 days per week. A minimum physical presence of 3 full working days per week at COMPANY nominated premises at Location of assignment.
Commuting status shall be approved prior to mobilization on presentation of supporting documents (utility bill(s) for point of origin, demonstration of need to commute).
Commuting status shall be reimbursed upto to a maximum of 1 return trip in each calendar month, with proof of travel.
