Senior Logistics Engineer

Contract Details

  • Start date: September 1st, 2025
  • Duration: 12 months (renewable)
  • Location: Paris, France
  • Travel required: Up to 4 times per year (Middle East, South America, Africa)
  • Work mode: On-site / Office-based

Key Responsibilities

Engineering & Project Logistics - Early Phases

  • Conduct detailed field reconnaissance missions to assess existing infrastructures and identify local constraints (administrative, technical, customs, weather, cultural, vendor-related, etc.).
  • Define the logistics strategy and operational philosophy in coordination with logistics experts (base operations, personnel & freight transport by land, sea, air).
  • Provide cost estimates and timelines to support project investment decisions.
  • Represent the logistics department in project committees (Quality reviews, Project reviews, EIR…).

Support to Affiliates - Start-up & Operations

  • Act as the logistics technical point of contact for local affiliates.
  • Lead on-site missions to ensure safe and efficient affiliate start-ups.
  • Assist with tender preparations, crisis management, and cost/method optimization.
  • Ensure operational excellence and safety in exploration phase logistics.

Innovation & Methods

  • Conduct technology watch and promote innovative logistics solutions.
  • Develop and update the Logistics Reference Framework (rules, manuals, specifications).
  • Ensure compliance with the group’s logistics standards and contribute to continuous improvement.

Objectives & Deliverables

  • Deliver clear logistics schemes including cost and scheduling inputs for project investment decisions.
  • Adapt and improve existing logistics models to maintain affiliate profitability.
  • Enforce the Logistics Reference Framework across branches and affiliates.

Required Profile

  • Engineering background with at least 5 years of experience in logistics for complex international projects
  • Proven track record in Oil & Gas and/or Offshore Wind sectors
  • Strong analytical mindset, autonomous, adaptable, and field-oriented
  • Experience in multicultural and international environments

Languages

  • French: Bilingual - mandatory
  • English: Bilingual - mandatory
