Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Head of Procurement to develop and implement international sourcing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
• Prepare and issue requests for quotations (RFQs), requests for proposals (RFPs), and requests for information (RFIs) to international suppliers.
• Evaluate supplier proposals and quotations, considering technical, commercial, and contractual aspects.
• Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing with international suppliers, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor supplier performance, and address any issues or concerns that may arise.
• Collaborate with the customs clearance and transport teams to ensure smooth logistics and delivery of international goods.
• Stay updated with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export laws.
• Conduct periodic supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and ethical standards.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their international procurement needs and provide guidance on international procurement processes and procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of international procurement processes, systems, and tools.
