Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safe-by-design and fit-for-purpose process solutions in accordance with company engineering standards and referentials.
• Develop, review, and update Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Heat & Material Balances (HMBs).
• Prepare and maintain Process Data Sheets and Process Specifications for process equipment and units.
• Develop, review, and update Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) following site surveys, modifications, and engineering changes.
• Develop and update Safety Logic Diagrams to accurately reflect plant modifications and operational requirements.
• Perform process simulations to assess and optimize process performance and identify potential operational constraints.
• Develop and maintain up-to-date process simulation models for Plant and Wellpad areas.
• Participate in site surveys to assess existing facilities and identify requirements for modifications and upgrades.
• Provide Process Engineering and Flow Assurance expertise during project and modification activities.
• Participate in safety and risk assessment studies, including:
  • HAZID
  • HAZOP
  • PR / Process Risk Reviews
  • Other process safety reviews as required
• Review and validate engineering documentation and ensure that revised as-built documentation accurately reflects the installed facilities.
• Support engineering and modification projects through to project close-out.
• Review and validate new revisions of process documentation during engineering execution and modification close-out.
• Provide technical support for the procurement of process equipment in accordance with approved process specifications.
• Prepare and review technical documentation for equipment procurement.
• Participate in technical bid evaluations and provide recommendations for equipment selection.
• Support contract administration and technical clarification activities related to process equipment and services.
• Ensure compliance with applicable company standards, industry codes, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify process risks, operational constraints, and opportunities for improvement and propose appropriate technical solutions.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure effective integration of process requirements into overall project design.
