Job Summary
We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Pipe / Plate / Structural Fabricators to support fabrication projects for our client in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry. This is an exciting opportunity for qualified craftsmen to contribute to high-impact work in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, isometrics, and structural blueprints
- Perform precise fabrication of pipes, plates, and structural components according to project specifications
- Execute prefabrication and on-site installation of piping systems and structural assemblies
- Assist with repairs and modifications on refinery tanks, marine equipment (e.g., barges, mooring buoys, buoyancy tanks), and other industrial structures
- Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) based on drawings and specifications
- Ensure all work complies with API, ASME, BS, and DIN standards and codes
- Conduct inspections and maintain fabrication tools and equipment in optimal condition
- Follow all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations
Qualifications
- Time-served craftsman with a minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in pipe, plate, and structural fabrication
- Strong background in refinery and petrochemical plant maintenance, including repair of tanks and marine components
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical fabrication drawings, isometrics, and structural layouts
- Solid understanding of fabrication codes and industry standards (API, ASME, BS, DIN)
- Experience in the Oil & Gas industry, particularly downstream operations, is highly preferred
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
