Role Overview
The FPSO QA/QC Lead is responsible for managing all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities associated with the engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, testing and commissioning of the FPSO.
The role ensures full compliance with project specifications, international codes, quality requirements and inspection standards.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management:
- Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan.
- Monitor contractor QA/QC performance.
- Review Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
- Coordinate audits and surveillance activities.
- Ensure proper management of NCRs, concessions and corrective actions.
- Supervise inspectors and quality coordinators.
- Monitor welding, coating, piping, structural and mechanical quality activities.
- Participate in FAT, SAT and commissioning inspections.
Reporting:
- Prepare quality dashboards.
- Monitor KPIs.
- Report quality performance to Project Management.
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree.
- Minimum 15 years QA/QC experience.
- Extensive FPSO construction experience.
- Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001 preferred).
Languages
- Fluent English.
