Fluids and cement Supervisor (FSSV)

Project Description

• Offshore project - jack up - FSSV position is onshore
• Mobilization date is as soon as possible in January.
• First part of the job will be to prepare the campaign in the office then the position is offshore on board the rig (rotational 4×4).
• Contract Duration is 12 months .

1. Responsibilities

• Participate to call of tender for equipment selection.
• Lead and control offshore drilling and work-over fluids, cement slurries, waste management preparations and executions as forecasted in Work Program to meet agreed off-shore well objectives (well placement, data acquisition objectives, well integrity, productivity) within the planned timing and costs, in a safe manner and minimizing the impact on the environment with the respect to Company and all existing regulations.
• Ensure the QA / QC of daily fluids reports and cement job reports as well as track the associated operational costs.
• Ensure that cementing test procedures are as per all relevant standards.
• Responsible to track the product usage, LMP & Bulk status, on the vessels and on the rig.
• Review and evaluate the service providers performance .

2. QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Mandatory : fluent in English (spoken and written), French language written and spoken is a plus.
• Mandatory minimum of 10 years’ experience and exploration well / WBM and NABM systems, Solid control equipment.
• Should be a team player and possess good communication skills to improve fluids management on rig locations.
• Should be sensitive to cultural differences between different members of team and be flexible in management style.
• Candidate must be fully vaccinated against COVID 19.
