Contract & Procurement Lead

The position starts during the FEED phase and may extend through EPC administration and the full development cycle until project close-out.

Missions / Service Dimensions

The service holder will provide contractual and procurement expertise during the tendering and EPC phases, supporting the Package Manager to ensure consistency and quality in technical and commercial proposals, and proper internal restitution.

Main Activities

  • Provide accurate summaries of contract-related matters to the FEED Manager and Project Control Manager
  • Prepare EPC Contracts during tendering phase
  • Draft all official communications to contractors
  • Manage all contract aspects during the EPC tendering phase
  • Ensure compliance with legal/contractual policies and processes
  • Interface with Legal Managers and Heads of Contracts as required
  • Perform contract reviews in accordance with company procedures
  • Coordinate holistic contract reviews with project stakeholders
  • Attend meetings with clients and subcontractors to finalize contract terms
  • Assist in obtaining JV authorizations, guarantees, and tender board minutes
  • Manage subcontract tendering, evaluation, and award
  • Administer bank bonds, guarantees, and insurance certificates
  • Lead dispute resolution and variation order coordination
  • Monitor and control contract variances
  • Integrate purchasing and subcontract activities
  • Advise project team on contract and commercial matters
  • Conduct project Contract Administration Kick-Off Meetings
  • Identify and monitor all contractual obligations and rights
  • Track key contractor and client deliverables and associated risks/opportunities

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Qualification: Engineering degree or equivalent
  • Languages: Fluent in English
  • Professional Experience: 10+ years
  • Project Experience: 10+ years in large industrial or energy projects

Other Requirements

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in bid analysis and clarification processes
  • Knowledge of HSE and quality standards
  • Proficient in Office and document management tools
