Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing Completion, Testing, Intervention programs in a timely and technically sound manner, complying with the Company’s policies and procedures. – Prepare detailed work programs for the activities to be executed and ensure that are duly authorised and shared/agreed upon with Contractors involved in the execution.
  • Liaising with the Exploration/Reservoir Eng./Geology/Drilling disciplines, whichever is involved/concerned, for the same scopes as above.
  • Preparing the budget for the activities and organize proper cost control and operations reporting system.
  • Supporting the day by day well operations in co-ordination with the Completion, Testing, Intervention Superintendent, ensuring that lessons learnt are systematically captured and information/data acquisition and validation is recorded and incorporated in the future similar wells.
  • Monitoring progress time and costs; timely report to the line responsible position on deviations from planned. Control that data and information from the well site are correct and consistent with operations on going, in order to ensure that reliable database is built.
  • Preparing the End of Well Report in co-operation with the Well Completion, Testing, Intervention Superintendent, Supervisor and, in case, with relevant Contractors/Suppliers and other Company’s Disciplines.
  • Preparing the technical documentation, including specifications for tendering of products and services
  • Participating during the tendering exercises for the provision of material, equipment and services related to the Well Completion, Testing, Intervention activities


  • University degree in Engineering (Petroleum Engineering preferred),
  • At least 10 years of experience in Upstream in Drilling and Completion experience, including at least 5 years of oilfield operations experience is required.
  • International experience working with multiple operators across multiple countries/basins and the E&P lifecycle is essential
  • Proven track record of operational design, planning and executional delivery for exploration, appraisal and development wells.
  • Medium/High level of French and High level of English language required, knowledge of Spanish language desirable
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills are required
  • Knowledge of automation and digitally enabled ways of working is preferred
  • HSE Leadership is required
  • Well Control Certification
  • Identify potential cost savings using new technologies and recommends ways to reduce long term costs
