Asset Integrity Coordinator

Context & Environment

In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.

Main Activities

Ø Development and implementation of Asset Integrity Management System in accordance to Company standards

Ø Establishment of AI KPI reporting, monitoring and management

Ø Support the Maintenance Manager in preparing and managing an auditable system of asset performance, for JV’s operated asset which will ensure safeguarding asset integrity

Ø Provide technical support to collect and review yearly AI plan executed by JV’s operator

Ø Verify that AI plans are fully compliant with asset integrity targets

Ø Participate in the development of strategic planning documentation

Ø Ensure any AI related databases are maintained properly and developed to meet company division needs

Ø Prepare technical scopes for contracts and services

Ø Achievement of Maintenance KPI’s

Ø Risk identification and management

Qualifications & Experience:

Ø Minimum Degree Qualification in relevant Engineering discipline (BSc / BEng, Diploma etc)

Ø 7 years of Oil & Gas Industry experience in oil and gas field operations.

Ø Strong Management skills

Ø Understanding of Risk Assessment

Ø Understanding of Safety Case

Required Competencies

Ø Previous experience in the upstream O&G industry with exposures to offshore and onshore operations

Ø Previous experience in CMMS system (SAP), mechanical and asset integrity roles required

Ø Significant hands-on experience within a facility engineering setting

Ø Deep knowledge of maintenance process, asset integrity and upstream projects

Ø Ability to assess key risk factors associated with offshore and onshore projects

Ø Must be capable of satisfying requirements for Offshore working

Ø Computer literate

Ø Good communication in English (verbal and written), presentation, negotiation & influencing skills
