[Partnership] A cooperation agreement between Altea Energy and the University of Ouargla

Altea Energy is pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with the University of Ouargla, Algeria, on 14 December 2021, which will allow for joint local initiatives and increased efforts for the benefit of students, teachers and researchers. 

The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohammed Halilat, Rector of the University of Ouargla and by Armand Pasteur, President of Altea Energy, in the presence of the respective executives of both parties.

“Today, we are a joint team that can work together and cooperate within the framework of this agreement. Our two teams will coordinate in an atmosphere of exchange for the benefit of our students and researchers. We are happy to sign this agreement with Altea Energy.” Mr. Mohammed Halilat, Rector of the UKMO – University Kasdi Merbah of Ouargla.

A cooperation agreement to promote training, youth employability and scientific research

This partnership between the University of Ouargla and Altea Energy aims to exchange and cooperate on the following subjects:

  • Higher education of students and the development of specialised skills (Specialised Master and PGS – Post-Graduation Specialised),
  • Scientific research on new technologies in the energy sector, in collaboration with teachers and researchers from the University of Ouargla,
  • Professional integration and employability of young people (development of new training courses according to the needs in skills of the energy sector, organisation of open days, recruitment sessions, internships…)

A committee composed of representatives of the UKMO (University Kasdi Merbah of Ouargla) and members of the Altea Energy subsidiary in Algeria, will be created to carry out all these reflections and actions in the field.
