With TEAM Energy, Altea Energy significantly strengthens its UK footprint by collaborating with the local teams based in Norwich and Aberdeen, bringing in-depth market knowledge and long-standing relationships with leading industry players.
This local presence, combined with a global community of experienced consultants, enables the Group to deliver proximity, responsiveness and operational excellence.
Founded in 2008, Altea Energy selects and mobilises technical experts on energy projects worldwide, delivering technical assistance services across the Oil & Gas, Renewable Energies and Nuclear sectors. The Group has supported more than 300 projects and now operates in more than 100 countries, with a strong presence in Africa, Europe, the Middle East and South America.
Established in 1987, TEAM Energy provides technical experts selection and deployment services to the international energy industry. The company supports consultants of over 40 nationalities, deployed across more than 30 countries, and brings strong high-end technical expertise, particularly in the subsea sector.
Together, Altea Energy and TEAM Energy form a highly specialised and complementary technical assistance group, capable of supporting energy projects across the entire value chain.
As part of the acquisition, Abid Raja, former Chief Operating Officer at Altea Energy, has been appointed Managing Director of TEAM Energy. This appointment ensures continuity for clients and consultants while accelerating operational integration and development.
