Altea Energy at the “French-Norwegian Green Industry Forum 2026”: Committed to a Decarbonised Energy Industry

On March 23rd, 2026, Altea Energy took part in the French-Norwegian Green Industry Forum 2026, held at BpiFrance headquarters in Paris.

A landmark event that brought together French and Norwegian policy makers, industry players and financial institutions around a shared goal: accelerating the transition towards a green and decarbonised industry.

A high-level forum addressing the challenges of the green transition

Launched four years ago as part of the Franco-Norwegian strategic partnership initiated by President Macron and Prime Minister Støre, this unique bilateral platform created a concrete space for dialogue between public and private stakeholders, to decarbonise existing industries throughout the entire value chain and foster the emergence of new green sectors.

“This 2026 edition placed a strong emphasis on key industrial challenges such as nuclear energy, hydrogen, CO₂ valorisation, waste management and industrial transformation, reflecting a very operational approach to the energy transition,” says Paul Vergnes, Head of Growth at Altea Energy.

This edition featured high-level panels on topics at the heart of today’s energy challenges:

  • European energy sovereignty, with speakers from EDF, DNV, Statkraft and BpiFrance, exploring how Franco-Norwegian cooperation can strengthen Europe’s energy resilience and security while accelerating the low-carbon transition.
  • Sustainability, circularity and waste management, with representatives from BNP Paribas, Tomra and Séché Environnement, discussing how to turn industrial waste into strategic resources and build a European competitive advantage.
  • Decarbonisation of the maritime sector, a priority for both France and Norway, two nations with strong maritime traditions, exploring solutions ranging from alternative fuels to port electrification.

The event was also marked by the signing of a Franco-Norwegian agreement in the presence of the French Ambassador to Norway and the Norwegian Ambassador to France, reflecting the concrete strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

Norway’s Minister of Trade and Industry, Cecilie Myrseth, honoured the forum with her presence and took the floor to highlight the importance of these partnerships in accelerating the industrial transition.

Altea Energy: a committed partner in decarbonisation

Altea Energy’s presence at this event is fully in line with the Group’s strategic direction, supporting major energy players in nuclear and renewable energy in delivering their most ambitious projects, by sourcing and mobilising experienced technical experts across the world.

For several years now, the nuclear and renewable energy sectors have represented a key strategic focus for the Group. Faced with the challenge of decarbonising industry by 2050, Altea Energy is actively involved in the sectors that contribute to reducing carbon emissions and securing tomorrow’s energy supply.

Paul Vergnes, Head of Growth at Altea Energy, explains: “The French-Norwegian Green Industry Forum brings together exactly the players we work with every day: industry leaders driving ambitious projects in renewables and nuclear energy. Our role is to provide them with the best available experts, at the right time and in the right place, so that these projects become a reality.”

Meaningful exchanges with green energy stakeholders

Beyond the panel discussions and programme highlights, this event was a valuable opportunity for direct meetings and exchanges with Altea Energy’s clients and partners.

Guillaume Escoubas, Account Manager at Altea Energy, adds: “Our participation in these thematic forums helps us better understand the operational needs of our clients on their current and upcoming projects. It is also an opportunity to build new relationships with stakeholders committed to the green transition, both in France and in Norway.”

We would like to extend our thanks to Christophe Slim (Innovation Norway) and all the Franco-Norwegian teams for organising such a high-quality event.
