While the energy sector is often perceived as male-dominated, women play an essential role by bringing their skills, vision and leadership.
Today, we are proud to highlight the exemplary journeys of Diana Gomes, Houda Kafi and Wateiagana Trigo, who are celebrating their 10-year anniversary at Altea Energy this year.
Three Journeys, One Shared Vision: Energy Powered by Women
For the past 10 years, these three talents have supported Altea Energy’s growth and, through their respective roles, contributed every day to strengthening our mission: connecting energy experts to the projects shaping the world of tomorrow.
What do they have in common? An unwavering commitment, a passion for their work, and a contribution that goes far beyond their job descriptions — inspiring their colleagues and shaping a company culture that is inclusive, collaborative, and forward-looking.
Diana Gomes: From apprentice to a key role in digitalization
Joining Altea Energy in 2014 as an apprentice, Diana Gomes embodies perseverance and continuous growth. Over the past decade, she has contributed to the company’s expansion by supporting administrative and financial structuring, the creation of international subsidiaries, and above all, the full digitalization of internal processes.
“What I love most about my job is the team spirit. We are more than colleagues – we are a supportive team, learning together, overcoming challenges, and celebrating our successes as one.”
— Diana Gomes, Management Assistant at Altea Energy
Houda Kafi: People at the heart of her HR role
Starting her career in 2014 with Altea Energy, Houda Kafi has never left. As HR Manager, she is the first point of contact for many talents, whether employees or consultants. She manages recruitment, administrative follow-up, and supports experts through their local procedures in Algeria.
“For me, the most valuable part of these 10 years has been the continuous development of my skills and knowledge. My most memorable moment? The day we moved into our new offices — I immediately felt at home, because to me, Altea Energy is first and foremost a family.”
— Houda Kafi, HR Manager
Wateiagana Trigo: Leadership and local impact in Mozambique
Since 2015, Wateiagana Trigo has played a central role as Administrative Coordinator and local representative in Mozambique. Her responsibilities are broad: administrative, financial and legal management, contract follow-up, team coordination, and client and supplier relations.
“The team plays a fundamental role. The collaborative spirit and mutual support have always made me feel part of a committed collective. I’ve learned a lot from more experienced colleagues, with a real openness to exchanging ideas, solving problems together, and growing as a team. It’s this caring, innovative and ethical environment that makes every day inspiring.”
— Wateiagana Trigo, Administrative Coordinator

On behalf of the entire Altea Energy team, a huge thank you to Diana, Houda and Wateiagana for these 10 years of commitment, trust and impact. Their journeys show that, in energy as in many other fields, the future is also written by women!
