Main missions

The Installation Lead is responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising wind turbine installation operations, from the reception of components on site to the complete commissioning of the turbines.

He ensures the coordination of installation teams, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with technical specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.

He is also responsible for implementing quality control and safety measures on the construction site, as well as managing risks related to installation operations.

Job activities

  • Planning installation operations: Develop a detailed installation plan taking into account wind turbine technical specifications, logistical constraints, and environmental requirements.

  • Coordination of installation teams: Supervise installation teams on-site, assign tasks, and ensure effective communication to ensure work is carried out properly.

  • Management of supplies: Ensure the reception, storage, and distribution of wind turbine components on the construction site, ensuring the conformity of delivered equipment.

  • Quality control and safety: Implement quality control procedures to verify the conformity of installations with technical specifications, as well as safety measures to prevent accidents.

  • Performance monitoring: Supervise wind turbine commissioning tests, analyze performance data, and identify any technical issues to be resolved.

  • Interface management: Ensure coordination with various project stakeholders, such as engineering teams, local authorities, and suppliers, to ensure consistency of activities on the construction site.

  • Reporting and documentation: Keep track of work progress reports, document incidents and corrective measures taken, and prepare site closure reports.

  • Training and technical support: Train personnel on wind turbine installation and maintenance procedures, and provide technical support in resolving issues encountered on-site.
