Well Integrity Desk Engineer

Contract Duration: 24 Months

Rotation: 4×4

 

Responsibilities:

  • Coordonate with Drilling, production, well services departments
  • Ensure WI Management System is in place and followed by different departments.
  • Answer questions about WIMS application
  • Support with WI Software integration and population
  • Reviews WI corrective action programs with the team and coordinate with suppliers for remedial actions schedule.
  • Checks and verifies that all paperwork is compliant and each action is fully documented.

Profile:

  • Engineering Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering is required.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience Completions, Well Intervention and Production, with at least 6 years’ experience with Well Integrity Management Systems.
  • Experience in Well Integrity, Well Integrity Management Systems (WIMS), Analysis of Wellhead inspection findings, Production operations, Well Intervention Services, Risk Assessment.
  • The candidate must be knowledgeable in good design (casing/tubing), wellhead and Xmas trees and Surface production assets.
  • Well integrity testing.
  • Experience with interpretation of cased hole production and diagnostic logs.
  • Must have strong teamwork skills, and it would be an advantage to have experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience in onshore projects in the African region.
  • Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing, and planning skills.
  • Preference for candidates with bi-lingual capabilities, English and French. Arabic is highly considered.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global matrix organization.
  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across multiple functions.
  • Well Control Certificate (IWCF)
