Valve Technician – Nuclear Refueling Outage

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute valve maintenance and overhaul activities
  • Support dismantling, inspection and reassembly of valves
  • Perform troubleshooting and testing activities
  • Follow outage procedures and maintenance schedules
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE standards
  • Work closely with supervisors and outage teams

Mandatory Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of valve maintenance experience
  • Experience with MOV, AOV, manual and check valves
  • Previous outage/shutdown experience
  • Power plant or heavy industrial background
  • Good English communication skills

Strongly Preferred

  • Previous Barakah outage experience
  • APR1400 exposure
  • GCC power generation experience
  • Experience with Limitorque actuators and equivalent systems

Internal Sourcing Constraints

  • Prioritize candidates with previous Barakah site experience
  • Prioritize candidates already familiar with outage operations in GCC nuclear facilities
  • Avoid sourcing candidates from nationalities historically facing Barakah clearance restrictions
  • Preferred sourcing regions: India, South Africa, Philippines and GCC-based expatriates
