Team Leader Resident

Qualifications and skills

• University degree in civil engineering or related technical discipline relevant to the project components (or equivalent).
• Excellent knowledge of English language in a professional environment (working level).
• Knowledge of Arabic (spoken and written) would be an advantage.

General professional experience

• Minimum 15 years professional experience in the water and wastewater sector.

Specific professional experience

• At least 10 years of experience in a team leading role;
• At least 10 years’ experience in the implementation of water projects.
• Experience of contract management.
• Experience in the management of international water and wastewater programmes.
• Experience of professional project management techniques.
• Experience in assignments demonstrating skills in the development of good relations with clients and funding agencies and with a proven track record of maintaining good liaison with the project Promoter and stakeholders.
• Relevant work experience outside home country and in the Middle East is an advantage.
