Main responsibilities

• Fulfill and comply with the HSE requirement on site and intervene if the requirements are not met nor respected.
• Quantity and quality of mechanical work according to the relevant instructions
• On-time completion of the work for the proper erection and mechanical commissioning of the wind turbine
• Technical support for the subcontractors involved in the installation and completion
• Checking mechanical work
• Proactive initiation of corrective measures to eliminate deficiencies
• Control of the correctness and completeness of construction site-related reports / protocols
• Creation of project-related reports / protocols
• Collecting and forwarding technical specifications
• Carry out quality control on site, including reporting
• Active participation in the on-site meeting (toolbox talk)
• Report defective or missing parts to the site manager with the aim of exchanging / reordering these parts
• Control and hand over special tools and equipment provided by EMPLOYER, inventory of these (damaged/missing) and return of special tools and equipment to Client.
• Ensure that all EMPLOYER’s subcontractors performing activities at Project Site demobilize their equipment, remove associated waste, and leave the Project Site in an orderly manner.

Job requirements

• Completed vocational training in mechanics or a similar area
• Several years of professional experience as a team leader in the field of installation of wind farms and in-depth technical knowledge of wind turbines
• Well-founded knowledge and proven experience in working with crane and industrial screwing technology
• Good project management skills
• Excellent knowledge of English (spoken and written)
• Good computer skills, especially MS Office
• Clear judgment and results orientation
• High level of Quality and HSE awareness
• Proactive / independent way of working
• Resilience and problem-solving ability
• Allow yourself to be trained in your willingness
• Suitable for high altitude and willingness to travel
• International car driving license
• Certificates in place to work on construction site or certificates can be adapted to the local country.
