Senior Geologist

Reservoir Characterization & Modelling

• Support static reservoir characterization activities
• Generate and update 3D geological and static reservoir models
• Interpret geological data to improve reservoir understanding
• Integrate multidisciplinary data into static models for development planning

Subsurface Studies & Planning

• Prepare and conduct subsurface studies to support field development decisions
• Develop static data acquisition plans for development wells
• Support well planning and optimize well placement strategies
• Contribute to reservoir management and development planning processes

Geological Interpretation

• Prepare and interpret:
  • Geological cross-sections
  • Structural maps
  • Facies maps
  • 3D structural models
• Analyze reservoir architecture and depositional environments

Drilling Data Integration

• Monitor and validate subsurface data acquired during drilling operations
• Perform quality control on geological and petrophysical data
• Integrate real-time data into static models

Reservoir & Business Support

• Support resource evaluation and reserves processes
• Contribute to corporate business planning activities
• Participate in technical review meetings with internal teams and external partners

• Ensure all activities comply with Company HSES policies and regulatory requirements
• Promote safe working practices within subsurface and operational teams

• Ensure all activities comply with Company ethics and compliance policies
• Complete all required compliance training

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Geoscience, or related discipline
• Master’s degree in Geology or Petroleum Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 15+ years of experience in reservoir geology or geoscience
• Strong experience in static reservoir characterization
• Proven experience in complex reservoirs (e.g., turbidite systems)
• Experience supporting development planning and well placement

• Strong experience with static modelling software:
  • Petrel
  • JewelSuite
  • SKUA (or equivalent)
• Knowledge of:
  • Structural geology
  • Sedimentology
  • Reservoir architecture
• Ability to:
  • Build and update 3D geological models
  • Integrate multidisciplinary subsurface data
  • Support reservoir simulation workflows

• Experience integrating drilling data into geological models
• Ability to support well design and placement decisions
• Strong understanding of offshore reservoir development

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Fluent English required (minimum B2 level)
• Spanish is a plus
