Job Summary

We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders to join our client’s team in the Oil & Gas Downstream industry. This position plays a critical role in supporting maintenance and inspection operations by ensuring the safe and efficient erection and dismantling of scaffolding systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Erect and dismantle light and heavy-duty scaffolding systems in accordance with international safety standards
  • Set up scaffolding inside and outside of process heaters, heater stacks, and other high-elevation structures, including areas with high wind velocity
  • Perform routine safety inspections on scaffolding to ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety regulations
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and site plans to determine scaffolding requirements
  • Collaborate with maintenance and inspection teams to provide access solutions for various plant operations
  • Maintain scaffolding tools, materials, and inventory in a safe and organized manner
  • Adhere to all HSE policies, company guidelines, and industry best practices

Qualifications

  • Time-served craftsman with a minimum of 8 years of scaffolding experience in refinery or petrochemical plant maintenance
  • Proficient in erecting scaffolding in complex industrial environments, including confined spaces and elevated, high-risk areas
  • In-depth understanding of international scaffolding safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
  • Reliable team player with a safety-first attitude
