Job Title: Safety & Risk Analysis Specialist
Location: Rig Site / Contractor’s Offices
Position Type: Full-Time, 12-hour shifts (may include night shifts depending on well operations)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses for rig and well operations.
- Identify potential hazards, develop mitigation strategies, and implement safety procedures.
- Ensure adherence to company safety policies, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with company staff, contractors, and site personnel to promote a culture of safety.
- Monitor and report on safety performance and incidents, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Support night-time and extended operations as required by well site conditions.
- Coordinate with the contractor to ensure all safety and risk analysis services are provided efficiently.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proficient in English (written and spoken) for clear communication with company personnel.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management practices in oilfield operations.
- Proven ability to evaluate hazards, implement solutions, and improve operational safety performance.
