Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Engineering design, procurement of equipment and materials in line with the specifications, compliance with the Integrated Basis of Design, interface management with construction to ensure build and installation programme is aligned with the engineering process, and that all Engineering work is completed in compliance with appropriate industry standards, best practices, corporate and legislative requirements.
  • The Engineering Manager will act as interface between wells, subsurface and operations,teams and will be accountable of the integration of all the technical aspects into the Basis of Design.
  • Guarantee the appropriate application of Industry Standards, resolution of non compliance issues, design verification through independent third party review, identification of Critical Safety Elements and implementation of appropriate performance testing regime, HAZOP, HAZID, ENVID activities and close out.
  • Ensure the engineering design supports an efficient Commissioning Plan, that appropriate isolations, test points, sample locations are in place.
  • Lead a team of discipline engineers, and will work closely with HSE, Quality, Subsurface, Commercial and Operational functions throughout the project.
  • Manage processes to deliver, monitor and review engineering outputs working closely w. Operations
  • Introduce and manage two key processes MoC and Interface Register to ensure the overall design of the system meets the performance objectives for the system, that technical queries from other key project stakeholders and suppliers are addressed, and that appropriate control of cost and schedule is exercised through the Execution Stage of the project.

Profil

  • Must have been in Consultant’s or Engineering organization for at least five (5) years in similar position.
  • Particular experience in projects done in the MENA region will be added qualification for work Technical background
  • Must be fully familiar with local and international codes & standards to be applied during EPC phase of the PROJECT
  • Shall be able to interpret Owner’s specifications & standards intended for the Project and direct EPC C ONTRACTOR accordingly.
  • B.S. or equivalent Degree in Engineering with twenty (20) years relevant experience in O il & G as industry
  • Should possess coordination / communication skills and very good knowledge of spoken and written English language.
