Planning Engineer

Job Purpose

• Overview project planning and scheduling and project budgets
• Assess and propose mitigation plans to reduce project schedule & cost risks.
• Acts as focal point for communications between the various parts of the Project and Interface Management/Senior Management regarding planning and budget
• To Advise and facilitate in the area of Time Management, Cost Management, Information Management, Change Management, Program Management and Schedule & Cost Risk Management functions of the Project Management

Professional Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business discipline or equivalent.
• Oil and Gas relevant industry experience.
• Minimum of 12 years’ experiences at planning level and planning engineer level.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experiences at planning level or planning engineer level in EPCIC contract context.
• Exposure to high capital value projects in a multi-disciplined environment.
• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
• Technical expert on Microsoft project / Primavera P6 v.7
• English and French mandatory.
• Capable of working independently, efficient, and competent in carrying out duties.
• Able to travel to the field if there is any short business mission i.e. Desert camp, CPF site.
