Package Fabrication Engineer

Location: France - La Défense, Paris

Start Date: 13 October 2025

End Date: 31 October 2026

Work Mode: On-site presence required

• 3 days per week until 3 January 2026
• 4 days per week starting from 5 January 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure fabrication drawings, materials, specifications, and procedures meet project and client expectations.
• Provide technical support during fabrication, welding, NDT (non-destructive testing), coating, and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) activities.
• Monitor fabrication progress using tools such as S-curves and report any risks or delays.
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with applicable standards and codes (e.g., API, DNV, ASME, ISO).
• Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality, safety, and schedule adherence.
• Liaise with vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues during fabrication.
• Coordinate material control, traceability, and certification for all subsea components.
• Promote and support HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) objectives by encouraging safe work practices.
• Prepare status reports, punch lists, and closeout documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in structural and piping fabrication within subsea or oil & gas projects.
• Proven experience working with fabrication yards and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with project tracking tools and systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team.
