Context & Environment

In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.

Main Activities

Ø Receive booking requests for heavy land transportation from sites, liaising with the requestors and in case of missing information or documents;

Ø Interfaces with transit service to organize Customs escort for transports of O&G material under exoneration;

Ø Interfaces with Logistics service provides to ensure ADR regulation is strictly followed, presence of MSDS and of DGN for each Dangerous goods transport;

Ø Attends, when needed, the correct dispatching of logistics means to onshore locations.

Ø Liaise with drivers and logistics services providers to ensure timely response and correctness of the services provided, also duly checking their working time and verifying, prior to the signature of the Chef de Department, their timesheets.

Ø Verify, on a regular basis, the status of all logistics means working within Eni Cote d’Ivoire sites, making sure they are kept in an acceptable condition of maintenance, and with all documents requested by Hse, and local law in course of validity and available on the vehicle.

Ø Follows up in collaboration with Infrastructures, Logistics and Material management departments all costs and reporting related to logistics;

Ø Controls and verify timesheets concerning logistics services;

Ø Provides guidance and support for logistics operations, including logistics studies and development of logistics projects;

Ø Follows up, checks and controls Suppliers tickets in order

Ø Issues technical requirements for POs and supports the Department in the correct issuance of POs;

Ø Updates LOGIS DB;

Mandatory Certifications or Diploma:

Ø higher professional education (in Technical subjects)

Skills & Experience:

Ø Working knowledge of English and French language

Ø Computer literate, particularly in the Office package, and familiarity in learning new software

Ø Knowledge of SAP-like software

Ø Knowledge of ADR regulations
