Mechanical Helper

Key Responsibilities

• Assist mechanical technicians in maintenance, repair, and installation of mechanical equipment.
• Support routine maintenance activities on pumps, compressors, valves, piping, and rotating equipment.
• Handle tools, materials, and spare parts as instructed.
• Perform basic mechanical tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, bolt tightening, and part replacement.
• Assist during shutdowns, overhauls, and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure housekeeping of work areas and compliance with site safety rules.
• Follow HSE procedures and participate in toolbox talks.

Requirements

• Basic experience in mechanical maintenance (oil & gas, industrial, or construction environment preferred).
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Physically fit for site work.
• Willingness to work shifts if required.
• Basic understanding of HSE rules.
