Legal Advisor Commercial & Clean Energies (Hydrogen)

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal coverage to the contracting, regulatory and legal consulting section of the Commercial & Clean Energies area activities, collaborating with senior members of the business and the Commercial & Clean Energies Legal department.
• Collaborate with senior members of the business and the Commercial & Clean Energies Legal department in the preparation of periodic reports, bid and contract approvals and investment approvals.
• Assisting in public/administrative law matters of Commercial & Clean Energies projects, with important legal impact before the different public administrations (authorizations, communications, tenders, etc.).
• Legal advice on all types of contracts to be carried out in the different phases of development of such projects (collaboration agreements with partners, contracts with suppliers and customers, project finance, etc.).
• Coordinate the hiring of external law firms when necessary and supervision of their work (including feedback on the quality of their services and supervision of the correct invoicing of their fees).
• Monitor and coordinate regulatory compliance and detect risks, collaborating in proposing possible solutions.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in law.
• Experience of more than 5 years in commercial contracting; however, other profiles will be valued depending on the skills and abilities of the candidates. Experience in public/administrative law and in regulated sectors is desirable. Master's Degree in Energy Law will be an asset.
• Very high level of English (spoken and written), including the ability to draft and negotiate complex contracts in English.
• Location: Madrid, with availability to travel (up to 20% of the time, approximately).
