Accountable for day-to-day execution of credit operational activities with the aim of maximizing receivable turnover and minimizing cost of receivable
Provide credit guidance to the team to ensure compliance with Client Trading and Credit Policy and guidelines, laws and regulations
Root cause analysis or operating issues and design of path forward for resolution
Monitor internal controls to ensure efficiency and accuracy of processes
Communicate regular updates to the Client Trading Executive Committee regarding specific issues and updating the general performance in credit terms
Oversee portfolio risk management through high risk/high value escalation, credit risk modelling, credit insurance / trade finance engagement
Manage growth programs by aligning business and credit segmentation
Take ownership of all aspects of the credit support coordinating with other functions (e.g. Trade Control, Treasury, Accounting, Trade Finance and Corporate Finance)
Job requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance
Prior experience in credit process management in the Energy sector (+10 years)
Excellent organizational skills including time management and task prioritization
Leadership, project management, team building
ERP (SAP), ETRM and risk systems
