Context & Environment
In 2021, the COMPANY discovered an extensive oil and associated gas field 70 km off the coast of Abidjan, Ivory Coast at a depth of 1,200 metres. It was the first commercial discovery in the country in the past 20 years. We call it fast track and it consists in running the design, authorisation and execution phases in parallel. Another innovative aspect of the project is the reuse of an existing FPSO, modernised and made technologically more advanced to ensure an accelerated start-up, optimising costs and time and minimising the waste of raw materials and construction materials.
Main Activities
Ø Ensure the reordering of spare parts to maintain the defined stock levels
Ø Promote and assure the continuous improvement of the maintenance process following the field feedbacks
Ø Promote equipment upgrading, investigation of causes of extensive wear, breakdowns analysis and development of preventive actions to increase the reliability.
Ø Analysis and selection of preventive maintenance works on the basis of expiration dates
Ø Preparation of monthly Work Plan and joint analysis with production
Ø Checking the availability of materials in respect to the established work dates
Ø Executing the weekly work scheduling and distribution to the concerned units
Ø Analysis of work feedback in order to improve maintenance process
Ø Approve and optimize work orders issued by Contractor, if any.
Qualifications & Experience:
Ø Minimum Degree Qualification or equivalent in relevant Engineering discipline (BSc / BEng, Diploma etc)
Ø 5 Years of Oil and Gas Industry experience
Ø Maintenance engineering
Ø CMMS- SAP management
Ø Understanding of Risk Assessment
Required Competencies
Ø Production Operations: Maintenance Management, Predictive Maintenance
Ø Maintenance Operations: Telecommunication Maintenance
Ø Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry or other similar Heavy Industrial environment, preferably including a substantial period of direct engineering support to operational Offshore and Onshore activities
Ø experience in the following areas:
o ATEX / DSEAR Electrical and Instrumentation Systems
o DCS / PLC Process Control Systems
o ESD Systems
o Field Instrumentation
o High & Low Voltage Generation Systems
o High & Low Voltage Distribution Systems
o High & Low Voltage Motor Control Centre’s
o High Voltage (Static) Variable speed drives
o Switchgear, Synchronous Generators, Induction & Synchronous Motors, Transformers, Lighting, Cables and associated support systems
Ø Instrumentation Maintenance, Electrical Maintenance, Troubleshooting techniques knowledge
Ø Significant hands-on experience in the ESD and F&G Systems
Ø Technical confidence and independence to progress tasks with minimal supervision
Ø Good communication in English (verbal and written)
