Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers and engineering teams to develop and implement engineering plans and schedules for projects .
- Oversee the design and construction process, ensuring compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure quality control
- Provide technical support and guidance to project teams
- Identify and resolve any engineering issues or conflicts that may arise during the project
- Manage and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on engineering progress and issues
- Ensure that all engineering activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Mentor and train junior engineers and other team members as needed
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in engineering practices and technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in engineering, preferably in the FMWR (Facilities Management, Water, and Roads) sector.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards
- Experience in project management and coordination
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
