Fluid Systems Engineer – Italy

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-7 years of experience in fluid system design, thermal-hydraulics, or nuclear operations.
  • Proficiency in fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer.
  • Experience with hydraulic modeling and simulation tools such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR CCM+, Flowmaster.
  • Knowledge of nuclear cooling systems, heat exchangers, and steam turbines.
  • Familiarity with ASME BPVC, NRC, and ANSI standards.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and a strong safety mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under pressure and tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field.
  • PE (Professional Engineer) license or ASME certification.
  • IPO or pre-IPO company experience.
  • Written and spoken fluency in Italian and English.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across functions and levels.
