Fiberglass Repair Technicians

We are currently hiring experienced Fiberglass Repair Technicians for a leading client in the Oil & Gas Downstream sector. This position involves hands-on work in construction and commissioning environments. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of practical experience in fiberglass repair, including fabrication and maintenance of fiberglass piping systems. Candidates with additional skills in polypropylene piping welding will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed repairs and fabrication of fiberglass structures and piping systems.
• Assist with on-site construction and commissioning activities.
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications for precise fabrication and repair.
• Mix and apply resins, catalysts, and curing agents as per standard procedures.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and site protocols.
• Perform quality checks and maintain records of repair work.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to meet project timelines.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in fiberglass repair and fabrication.
• In-depth knowledge of resins, catalysts, their mixing ratios, and curing techniques.
• Familiarity with tools, materials, and procedures used in fiberglass applications.
• Experience in construction and commissioning within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices.
• Polypropylene piping welding skills are a strong advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
