This position involves hands-on work in construction and commissioning environments. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of practical experience in fiberglass repair, including fabrication and maintenance of fiberglass piping systems. Candidates with additional skills in polypropylene piping welding will be given preference.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out detailed repairs and fabrication of fiberglass structures and piping systems.
- Assist with on-site construction and commissioning activities.
- Interpret technical drawings and specifications for precise fabrication and repair.
- Mix and apply resins, catalysts, and curing agents as per standard procedures.
- Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and site protocols.
- Perform quality checks and maintain records of repair work.
- Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to meet project timelines.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in fiberglass repair and fabrication.
- In-depth knowledge of resins, catalysts, their mixing ratios, and curing techniques.
- Familiarity with tools, materials, and procedures used in fiberglass applications.
- Experience in construction and commissioning within the Oil & Gas sector.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and best practices.
- Polypropylene piping welding skills are a strong advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
