The Fluids & Cement Supervisor ensures the execution and optimization of drilling fluids, completion fluids, and cementing operations on the assigned rig. The position requires close coordination with the Drilling Supervisor and service companies.
Activities
- Supervise mud plant and cementing unit operations
- Ensure mud and cement programs are executed as designed
- Monitor drilling fluid parameters and hydraulics in real time
- Lead cement job simulations and risk assessments
- Control quality of all fluid and cement additives
- Verify lab tests and pre-job QA/QC
- Maintain and audit all chemicals and environmental compliance
- Track NPT related to fluids/cement and propose mitigations
Qualifications & Experience Required
- 10+ years in fluids/cement supervision, including deepwater HPHT wells
- Experience in Guyana Basin or similar geology preferred
- Strong knowledge of wellbore stability, loss management, and cement evaluation
- Fluent in English
- IWCF Level 4
