Deepwater Completion Engineer

Duration 12 months renewable (4 years minimum)

The Completion Engineer will lead the planning, design, and support of well completions for the 32-well subsea development campaign .

He ensures optimal design for performance, cost, and safety, working closely with service providers and company technical entities.

Activities

  • Define lower and upper completion design in collaboration with subsurface and production teams
  • Evaluate and select completion technologies adapted to formation and production requirements
  • Lead tendering process for completion services and tools
  • Prepare detailed programs and contingency plans
  • Define fluids, cleanout tools, and deployment methods
  • Coordinate with Drilling, Well Integrity, and Production to ensure seamless integration
  • Participate in execution follow-up and post-job analysis
  • Propose improvements based on operational feedback

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • 15+ years in Completion Engineering for subsea developments
  • Experience in the Guyana Basin preferred
  • Knowledge of smart completions, sand control, and interventionless designs
  • Ability to manage complex interfaces and high service density wells
  • Fluent in English; French a plus
